The Alphabet in Spanish
In this purple grammar lesson, we take a look at the Alphabet in Spanish.
The Spanish alphabet is almost exactly identical to the English alphabet, with only one exception; the letter ‘ñ’. In this video, we go over all of the 27 letters of the alphabet, including the different sounds & tonations of these different letters. I will also show you examples of words to get some extra practice.
“The only difference between the Spanish and the English alphabet, is the letter ‘ñ’.”
Going over, and learning the letters of the alphabet, is not necessarily much fun. But, it is however a very important part of learning the basics of the Spanish language.
Each letter in Spanish only has one way of how it can be pronounced. So, if you understand this, and you learn the letters of the alphabet, this will help you understand how to pronounce different (and sometimes also difficult) words in Spanish.
